Personal Information

The only personal information we store about you in our database is your email address and your name. The password you use to log into LinkStart is encrypted and cannot be reverse-engineered, even by us!
The links and calendar alerts you save in LinkStart are stored in a MySql database. For your own protection, you should never store any sensitive information with your links or alerts. Although we have taken every precaution to ensure the security of our database, we will not be held liable in any way for damages caused by information which is illicitly retreived from our systems. By using LinkStart you acknowledge that you understand the risks associated with using any Internet-based application.

Links

By default, all links you add to LinkStart are considered private. This means that your link will not appear in the search results of other users unless you explicitly set its public attribute to "yes".

Alerts

Your calendar alerts are always private and cannot ever be seen by other users.

Cookies

We use cookies to ensure authentication and identification of LinkStart users. We also set two cookies to track the state of your homepage alerts listing (collapsed or expanded) and the current page you have selected.

Pop–ups

We all hate 'em, but there's one place I had to use them, on the contact form. This is a simple attempt to keep from getting spammed by automated form–fillers and other nasty spiders.

If you have any further questions, please contact us.
